Job Title: Air Import Coordinator

Location: Salford

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Job Type: Full-time (Monday - Friday with Hybrid working available)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Import Coordinator focusing on air freight to join a well-established global logistics business located in Salford. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the import of goods via air, ensuring that all documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all Air Import freight activities, including quotations, bookings, documentation, data entry, shipment tracking, and tracing
• Issue airway bills and invoice clients and agents promptly
• Organise documentation and maintain accurate shipping records
• Customs clearance documentation
• Liaise with customers, airlines, and other stakeholders to ensure that all shipments are delivered on time and in full
• Ensure that all shipments comply with relevant regulations and legislation
• Provide excellent customer service to all clients
• Day to day invoicing and job costing

Requirements:

• Experience in air freight operations, import procedures, and customs compliance
• Strong communication skills to liaise with carriers, overseas agents, and internal teams
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation
