Uniserve is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an Airfreight Export Operator.

Job Summary: As an Airfreight Export Operator, you will work closely with the Export Manager, Supervisor, and Head of Aerospace to ensure the efficient and cost-effective servicing of Aerospace customer requirements. Your role will involve executing customer bookings to high standards, fostering further opportunities, and supporting overall departmental requirements.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Develop and continuously review operating processes to execute Aerospace movements.
• Strengthen the network of overseas partners to support service delivery, maintaining relations through regular communication and review meetings.
• Ensure correct utilisation of in-house operating systems for executing shipments, including a strong understanding of accounting and financial processes.
• Deliver excellent customer care and manage client expectations effectively.
• Support the team with general export workload as required.
• Assist with customer requirements outside of normal business hours based on any pre-agreed shift pattern.
• Ensure compliance with UK and international regulatory bodies to guarantee full compliance in all actions.
• Utilise negotiation skills, adhere to contracts, and apply commercial awareness to protect the company's best interests.
• Prioritise workload and time as agreed with the department manager and supervisor.
• Support the development and implementation of all new opportunities generated.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years air export experience including time spent on Aerospace including AOG.
• Strong understanding of Aerospace movements and related processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and strengthen partnerships.
• Proficiency in utilising in-house operating systems and financial processes.
• Flexibility to support customer requirements outside of normal business hours.
