Whitehall Resources require an Alliance Messaging Support Consultant to work with a key client on an initial 6 month contract.

*This role will involve on site work in Zurich 3 days per week.

Job Description:
The client’s Financial Messaging team is responsible for ensuring the continuous availability of all applications that process financial messaging communications both within and with clients, counterparties, exchanges and clearing houses. Any issues that are identified have to be responded to on priority to keep the lines of communication open. Regular maintenance, upgrades and support are the responsibilities of this team.

Your working area & responsibilities:
* Regular maintenance, installation of upgrades/patches with minimal downtime for SWIFT Alliance Messaging Hub (AMH)
* Identifying the root cause of issues that have been identified/flagged directly with AMH or with connected databases, components, networks, etc.
* Supporting the overall team with any configuration changes as may be required from time to time

Your skillset:
* 5+ years of hands-on experience on SWIFT Alliance Messaging Hub (AMH) including deployment, integration with other connected applications.
* Extensive experience in Unix/Linux
* Experience with Oracle DB/ExaData
* High level of understanding of Networks and Storage
* English fluency is Mandatory, Knowledge of German preferred.
