AddressThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Planning Analyst within the Home Service and Retail Planning function under the CSG Planning team. Reporting to one of our Planning Managers. You will be part of a highly motivated team who are committed to our internal and external customers and strive to continually deliver brilliant results.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, from Team Managers to Heads of Departments, across all departments.
- Lead planning meetings with stakeholders, providing insight and analysis.
- Translate complex data sets and analyse trends to provide actionable recommendations.
- Develop and maintain Supply and Demand models using multiple data sources.
- Produce clear and concise daily and weekly outputs.
- Have a real focus on simplification through automation, prioritisation and clear outputs.
- Work collaboratively with the wider planning team focusing on delivering our overall goals.
- you will be required to work 1 weekend in 9 (4 hours on Saturday and 4 hours on Sunday) This can be taken as overtime, or time in lieu.
What you’ll bring:
- Advanced excel skills with a proven, strong analytical background and ability to demonstrate a robust approach to problem solving. (Requirement)
- Experience of building accurate models or forecasts
- Real sense of ownership and accountability to deliver against plan. (Requirement)
- Comfortable with ambiguity – being able to provide clarity and guide decision making. (Requirement)
- Proactive, creative and innovative thinking to come up with solutions and ways to improve processes and customer and colleague experience and business benefits. (Requirement)
- Ability to work at pace – we work in an agile, fast-moving way at Sky.
- VBA, SQL or Business Objects experience would be an advantage.
