Enterprise Comms and MarTech Experiences (ECMX) is a global organisation that sits within Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions (EDDS) and is American Express’ marketing services centre of excellence with a mission to power high quality, efficient, personalised, user-centric digital marketing experiences that accelerate business growth through optimised enterprise MarTech and MarOps solutions.

Rewards based Products and incentives are critical tools used by American Express marketing teams around the world to drive Customer acquisition, engagement, loyalty and retention. These strategies are only effective if we deliver efficiently and flawlessly against the Customer promises we make.

The International Rewards Solutions team within ECMX own the end-to-end process for Rewards set-ups in International. This covers multiple loyalty programs including Membership Rewards, Cashback, and Co-Brand partners.

This position will play a key role in solutioning and delivering the set-up of our Partners’ Industry Bonusing promises to Customers to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and risk reduction. The role reports to the Manager of the UK based Rewards Solutions team.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Membership Rewards processes and deep knowledge of the STAR platform is crucial.
  • Experience using the STAR Parameter Request platform.
  • Self-confidence – is assured, builds credibility as a subject matter expert.
  • Great teammate, and self-motivation with the ability to balance multiple work streams under time constraints and across geographical locations and ad-hoc tasks simultaneously.
  • Multi-national collaboration: Displays cultural sensitivity; builds cross –cultural relationships and works effectively in a global environment.
  • Ability to multi-task – maintains focus despite interruptions. Quickly re-evaluates priorities based on new information; quickly shifts attention between tasks or projects.
  • Good interpersonal skills. Ability to tailor communications so that they are appealing and understandable. Ability to convey technical and business information clearly and concisely to groups or individuals either verbally or in writing.
  • Ability to listen and respond appropriately to others.
  • High level of curiosity and ability to ask the “right” questions.
  • Problem solving (information seeking, analytically thinking and being proactive).
