Shift: Monday Friday 09:00 17:00 (there's some flexibility around times)
Contract Length: 4 months
We are thrilled to partner with a leading healthcare establishment dedicated to elevating the health and welfare of the communities it serves. Currently, we are on the lookout for a Temporary Accounts Payable Finance Assistant to join their team in Hull. In this capacity, you will play a vital role within the finance department, assisting with diverse accounts payable tasks to uphold efficient financial operations within the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Communication:
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle supplier enquiries and review outstanding invoices.
- Liaise with the Finance Team for work allocation and queries.
Knowledge, Training and Experience:
- Some experience in Finance or Admin.
- Willingness to learn financial procedures, legislation, and systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools.
- Ability to advise on effective invoice management and financial procedures.
- Commitment to ongoing personal development.
Analytical Skills:
- Analyse and interpret financial transactions.
- Investigate and resolve basic financial queries.
- Seek advice for complex judgements.
- Utilize financial ledgers and coding systems effectively.
Planning and Organisational Skills:
- Set own work goals and prioritise tasks.
- Manage workload to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Monitor and control completion of activities.
- Maintain organized records for easy accessibility.
- Input data accurately and efficiently into databases and spreadsheets.
- Perform daily banking tasks when required.
