The Role
The Team Leader will report to the Head of Finance and take responsibility for a small transactional team of AP & AR professionals. The biggest priority for the business is evolution of the function as the business embarks on a transformation journey to streamline finance and create the perfect fundamental to facilitate the forecasted growth. For that reason, this is more an oversight than hands on role and requires an individual that is able to lead & inspire a “one team” approach on this fantastic expansion journey ahead.
- Ownership of AP & AR functions
- Training, hiring and development of the transactional finance team
- Assisting with transformation – reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems
- Developing KPI’s and SLA’s to ensure finance can facilitate the businesses strategic objectives
- Maintaining = a robust & compliant operational finance function
- Developing fantastic relationships with customers & suppliers
- Perodic and adhoc reporting to the Head of Finance
The Candidate
The ideal candidate must be a proactive individual that is extremely passionate about managing & developing others. We are keen to engage with individuals that match the below criteria:
- A proven track record of being a supervisor/team leader/manager
- Ideally experience of both AP and AR, although candidates that only have one of the two will still be considered
- Can demonstrate involvement in change & transformation
On Offer
The role of AP/AR Team Leader is based in South Lanarkshire with excellent flexible and hybrid working options available. The employer would ideally like to appoint between £35,000 - £38,000, but would be willing to appoint at £40,000 for someone exceptional. The position will also offer:
