SALARY: £22,000 - £23,500 per annum
LOCATION: Remote/Home working or candidates can be based in either the Plymouth, Sheffield or Northampton offices

Working as the Application Support Analyst / IT Support Engineer you will provide excellent customer service to internal and external users of the company’s services and IT solutions.
The role of Application Support Analyst / IT Support Engineer is to provide in depth technical and operational support of in-house systems including:
- Microsoft .net and SQL Server applications
- Open Source/Low Code platforms (e.g., Appian or similar Cloud based SaaS solutions)
- Bespoke Windows and Web Applications
- Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) software packages
DUTIES
Your duties and responsibilities as the Application Support Analyst / IT Support Engineer will include:
- Using existing skills, experience, and knowledge to become a Subject Matter Expert in business-critical systems
- Provide user support for company applications
- Undertake analysis and troubleshooting of applications and their databases
- Log defects and recommend improvements to ensure ongoing provision of services in line with business objectives
- Escalate issues to developers as appropriate
- Support testing and deployment activities
- Understand, demonstrate, and promote the Company’s Genetic Code
- Manage confidential data in line with the UK GDPR
- General Office Duties
- Contribute ideas and suggestions to continuously improve the Customer & Employee Experience
- Assist with colleagues work during absences
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous Application Support Experience
- Basic SQL skills or willingness to learn
- The ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate expertise in a broad range of supporting technical skills
- Patience in dealing with clients/customers
