Applications Engineer Required!

Our client specialises in the design and manufacture of high-precision grinding and polishing equipment, particularly for the diamond tooling industry. Due to ongoing success, they are looking for an experienced Applications Engineer to join their team.

(Applications Engineer) - Position Overview

• Work on multi-axis CNC grinding machines.
• Work in a cross-functional team, collaborating with R&D, production, customer support, sales and more.
• Providing technical support and expertise to customers and the sales team.
• Understand customer requirements and alter machines accordingly.
• Servicing & installing machines and troubleshooting.
• Assessments on machine maintenance
• Collaborate with design engineers to improve design efficiency.
• Creating various documents including manuals and troubleshooting procedures
• Training internal teams and customers on machine programming
• Travel to customer sites (UK + International)

(Applications Engineer) - Position Requirements

• Proficient in CNC Programming
• Excellent communication
• Willingness to travel worldwide.
• Reliable, and able to manage own workload.
• Degree/HND or relevant qualification in engineering (advantageous)
• German speaking (advantageous)

(Applications Engineer) - Position Remuneration

• £45,000 - £50,000 salary (DOE)
• Monday - Friday (although some weekend work may be required)
• Internation travel with paid expenses + additional pay for overnight stays.
• Company pension
