Role Overview
As the Team Lead you will be managing the Applications Team who are tasked with bringing together the state of the art sub-systems (computer, vision, audio, motion, and driver) used in our world class driver-in-the-loop simulators.
What will you be doing?
- Leading a dynamic and talented group of engineers who work on cutting-edge computer and graphical systems on world leading, award-winning, automotive simulators.
- Implement simulation-grade multi-projector vision systems, professional-quality audio systems, high end IT systems including PC components and networking equipment.
- Confirm optimal performance for our simulators before release to customer.
- Assist with customer support for aftersales.
- This role has the possibility of travel to international customer installations to commission and service our systems.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in leading teams and being able to communicate clearly.
- Knowledge of high end PC systems down to component level.
- Experience of software and firmware configuration.
- Ability to work with complex systems to high standards in a methodical and repeatable manner.
- Be a fast and critical thinker, motivated by finding solutions to problems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
