We are currently looking for an Apprentice Receptionist & Events Assistant to join our friendly team based at our Head Office in Knottingley, West Yorkshire, as soon as possible. We are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it is important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.
Under supervision and direction, you will be the first point of contact for Delta’s Education Exchange by telephone and in person, ensuring information flows are accurate and effective. You will support Executive Leaders in day-to-day organisational support. You will deal with incoming and outgoing deliveries as well as assisting with other office duties as required. You will also train to assist in events including but not limited to receiving booking information, analysing need, arrange facility requirements, liaise with internal and external contractors, work with finance to ensure budget requirements are met and oversee events from planning to delivery. You will support the Events Coordinator to facilitate the smooth running of all events including being a point of contact throughout any events.
You will study towards an NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service Specialist.
This is a full-time role to work all year round and is temporary for a minimum of 12 months.
