About the role
As an Area Quality Leader in Liquids Manufacturing you will refer major non-standard and product quality issues to QPs (Qualified Persons) and our Compliance Team. You will also interface with engineering support, Technical, Cl Team, suppliers and R&D. Supporting our flagship site in Hull in delivering in-house and regulatory standards of compliance to best business advantage is key day to day.
Your responsibilities
- Identify and support actions to resolve quality problems, both internal issue and from outside suppliers.
- Identify with Operations Managers where support is required from support teams.
- Make recommendations and act to improve process, procedures and systems.
- Assess change controls, protocols and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), recommends release or otherwise of product involved.
- Co-ordinate area document control and assists with training regarding quality system.
- Training and competency assessment of operational staff.
- To advise on, and assist with, practical operation changes and improvements.
- Front audits for the site.
The experience we're looking for
- Have a wide background of knowledge and experience of Good Manufacturing Practice and Regulatory standards.
- Are a good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Well-developed influencing skills
- Are organised and able to deliver concise written or oral summaries to senior management.
- Can lead on improvement plans within factory, requires a good manufacturing knowledge and an understanding of factory/quality management system.
