As an R & D Category Senior Associate you’ll lead innovation within Reckitt's diverse portfolio. Apply your expertise to guide critical research and development initiatives, shaping the future of well-known Reckitt products. In this role, you will blend scientific knowledge with strategic insight to uplift product development, propelling them to meet rigorous healthcare standards. With a focus on cross-functional collaboration and team leadership, your work will directly impact the integrity and success of our products on a global scale.
Your responsibilities
- leading an R&D team accountable for delivery of NPD/EPD/BDI projects through effective planning and management of functional work.
- developing technical product strategies to support/deliver short-term and long-term innovation.
- technical problem solving and solution oriented approach to enable achievement of project milestones.
- proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of the category with respect to new technologies, procedures and/or processes
- development and motivation of individuals and team through appropriate training, coaching and support
The experience we're looking for
- Educated to Degree level (Scientific based subject e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Medical Science) with a strong track record formulation development
- Ability to deliver NPD/EPD projects inline with consumer insights
- Proven project management skills with prioritisation and innovative problem solving.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to establish a broad network across multiple functions
- A leader with a strong focus on team and individual motivation and development
