Area Sales Manager
Role & Responsibility Role: Area Sales Manager (ASM)
Location: Home based with use of offices
Role:
- Handle customer accounts mainly in London, and with some within the M25 and Home Counties.
- Primary focus will be in developing Electrical Consultant specifications and handling projects through to order with Electrical Contractors. Expected split of time to be approx. 70:30 between those customer types.
- Achieve the sales targets set for the territory.
- Drive activity in the full commercial cycle o uncover opportunities propose solutions (including lighting control schemes), carry out technical presentations present commercial proposals secure orders.
- Identify and nurture strategic opportunities in commercial, education, healthcare and develop account plans to capitalise on related opportunities.
- Conduct new product presentations and inform customers of changes in the regulatory environment and areas where can add value to their activities.
- Target in-person CPD presentations using supporting collateral.
- Develop account plans which include targeted activities around client entertaining.
- Progress leads supplied from a variety of sources.
- Construct and present opportunity forecasts at sales team meetings.
- Maintain records of activity on EMS system.
- Operate as a collaborative member of the sales team and support team members and team initiatives.
