Area Security Officer

We are currently recruiting for Area Security Officer's to support our teams across two sites in the Chichester and Bognor Regis area. The client is a prestigious car manufacturer, who have high security standards needing to be met at all times.
This position will require you to travel between the two sites, covering holiday and sickness cover. The sites produce high-end products, so the security on site needs to be of a high standard. You will need to be a great communicator, well presented and someone who is willing to learn all aspects of the role.
This position is a 0 hour contract only. When working on site, you will need to be flexible to cover shifts Monday to Sunday, day and night shifts.
The rate of pay is £11.46 per hour.
This role will require you to hold a full UK driving license and have your own car.
Your Time at Work
As an Area Security Officer your duties will include:
- To operate internal and external patrols.
- To provide car park patrols and apply restrictions as required.
- Respond to emergencies immediately and request for assistance where required.
- Reporting instances on and around the site.
- Operate search policy as per instructed by the customer.
- Carry out initial investigations and report writing on incidents, accidents, damage, suspicious activities and parking.
- Perform as instructed locking and unlocking duties.
- To ensure that the security teams are briefed on events or changes in procedures that have been implemented or are due to be introduced.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key.
It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA licence, however it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training.
