We're seeking an outstanding Team Leader to head up one of our three Planning Application Teams during an ambitious transformation programme. In this key role, you'll manage a team of up to 15 staff, providing expert guidance on all aspects of their varied casework, including large scale major applications. You'll take delegated decisions on the range of planning applications.

As an industry leader, you'll promote the delivery of sustainable development for Croydon's communities.
The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator skilled in negotiation, with a deep understanding of Development Management leadership. You'll need to explain complex planning matters clearly to different audiences, identifying issues and solutions, and diplomatically resolving conflicts to achieve the best results. This is a chance to join a forward-thinking and inclusive team. You'll access regular training covering key planning topics, with opportunities to get involved in shaping the programme.
