Communal Heat Network Manager

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Communal and Heat Network Manager to join our team in London or Oldham on a permanent basis.

Managing a team of five people, you will be expected to ensure our national portfolio of Communal Heating systems run smoothly and are compliant with current and future regulations. With support from our contractors and consultants, you will lead on assessing the performance of our Communal Heating systems and generate plans to improve their performance and efficiency, including managing the delivery of capital improvement works and bids for funding. You will be accountable for ensuring that metering and billing provisions are in place for our residents including reviewing and revising energy tariffs. You will be responsible for contract deliver in this area and developing and embedding our long-term Heat Network and renewables strategies.

It's a varied and challenging role with a number of well-defined KPI and SLA's to deliver in a high profile area of the business.

You'll also be able to demonstrate:

• Contract management experience including experience of building and maintaining relationships with contractors and stakeholders to continually improve the service.
• Experience of managing Communal Heating systems and compliance.
• Experience of working on new developments and project management/delivery.
• Experience of managing contracts that include a requirement to meet statutory compliance including both gas compliance and metering and billing.
• Experience managing Heat Networks, metering and billing covering installation, service and repair.
• Expertise in the setting of metering and billing tariffs and associated regulatory compliance.
• Sound working knowledge of the Heat Network regulations.
• Proven experience of leading, managing and motivating teams.
• High standard of numeracy.
• Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.

• Educated to degree level or equivalent preferably in a technical related subject.
