Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Chelmsford, Essex.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £38k + Training + Benefits
Our client is an industry leading UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy; they are now in the market for an Asbestos surveyor to join their established team in the South East of England. Covering Commercial and Industrial sites, you will be carrying out the full range of surveying services, ensuring work complies with HSG 264 guidelines. This role would suit a candidate who is looking to cover Commercial and Industrial contracts and is an opportunity to reduce travel to London and cover contracts solely across Essex / East Anglia region.
Covering contracts across Essex / East Anglia, including: Maldon, Basildon, Southend-on-Sea, Brentwood, Cheshunt, Harlow, Braintree, Saffron Walden, Colchester, Newmarket, Clacton-on-Sea, Ipswich, Sudbury, Stowmarket, Bury St Edmund, Diss, Thetford, Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth, Downham Market, Wisbech, Kings Lynn, Norwich.
Experience & Qualifications:
" BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent.
" Experience carrying out asbestos surveys on commercial / industrial buildings.
" Confident in producing and working from floorplans.
" Able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and provide clients with consultancy services.
" Professional attitude towards work and a willingness to always go the extra mile.
The Role:
" Covering Commercial & Industrial sites carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Sampling ACMs, ensuring they are correctly bagged and labelled prior to sending for analysis.
" Using TEAMS / TRACKER to produce detailed reports for clients.
" Conducting re-inspections surveys upon completion of works.
" Ensuring work carried out complies with HSG 264 guidelines.
" Professionally liaising with clients, providing excellent support and advice.
