Assembly Engineer

Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our manufacturing client near Calne, who are actively seeking an Assembly Engineer on a temporary to permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

• Assembly of a range of units including fitting guards, switches, hoses, gearboxes, motors and pumps
• Working from technical drawings to complete assemblies
• Test and carry out fault finding when required, raising issues and identifying potential causes for the units failures
• Preparation of products for despatch, assembling and cleaning components and completing PDI sheets

What you need in order to succeed :

• Experience within a production environment using a variety of hydraulic, electric and manual tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
