Asset Transition & Platform Relationship Manager Lifesight

LifeSight, WTW’s DC master trust, represents one of our biggest business growth opportunities in the UK.  Our growing team has already quickly gained a foothold in this exciting space, supported by an ambitious marketing and sales plan aiming to disrupt the marketplace and make us stand out against our competitors. 
Our objective is to become the pre-eminent player in outsourced pensions for large companies and to be a market leader and innovator in the field.  We expect LifeSight to become one of the largest UK pension plans in terms of assets under management.  We have secured in excess of £13bn assets under management and 255,000 members with a pipeline which will enable us to grow this exponentially over the coming years.
The role will be hybrid and therefore the location is flexible for the right candidate although travel around the UK will be required for face-to-face meetings with clients and interaction with the LifeSight teams in each of London and Redhill offices.
The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to work in the LifeSight Transitions and Platform Relationship Team by leading in the transfer of past assets for participating employers.  Part of the role will also be to manage the relationship with LifeSight’s Platform provider and assisting with the Asset Transition aspects of tender responses and pitches. 

• Project management of Asset Transitions including liaising with incumbent investment managers, the administrator(s), LifeSight client Relationship Manager, legal advisers and incumbent Trustee/Company representatives
• Review of legal documentation
• Co-ordination of requirements from all parties
• Development and maintenance of transition project plan
• Attendance at meetings as required (may involve travel)
• Review fund mapping proposals
• Estimate transaction costs
• Recommend transition approach
• Escalation point for problem-solving either at planning stage or during implementation
• Monitoring of service levels of the platform provider
• Attendance at Joint Management Committee meetings
• Assist in leading the relationship with LifeSight’s platform provider working cross team to ensure satisfactory service is maintained
• Ongoing development of processes for LifeSight product and Asset Transitions
• Assist in the preparation of tender responses, including estimated transaction costs, transition approach and fund mapping
• Attendance as required at participating employer meetings, LifeSight Trustee meetings, pitches 

The Requirements
Essential

• DC and/or Master Trust pensions experience
• Good project management experience
• Experience of project management of Asset Transitions
• Collaborative style, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good stakeholder management skills and ability to negotiate
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project
• Ability to manage a large and diverse workload
• Firm commitment to Professional Excellence and delivering a high quality service
• Great team player
• Ability to develop and challenge ideas to solve client/business needs
• Experience of pension administration processes and investment transition approaches available for master trusts

Desirable

• Broad understanding of product and operational aspects of a master trust like LifeSight
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
