Our client is a small to medium sized business based near Eastwood.
Description
You will be working alongside the Finance Manager. Your duties will be very varied, and will develop overtime. Once you have received the necessary training, your duties will include:
- Processing sales invoices
- Processing purchase invoices and making payments
- Calling and emailing customers regarding outstanding invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit checking customers
- Weekly reporting on sales with analysis
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Preparing VAT returns
- Balance sheet reconciliations
Profile
To apply for the position, you:
- Must have recent experience of working in finance
- Do not need experience of all the above duties, but you must have varied experience of working in finance
Job Offer
- £25,000 - £30,000
- wholly office based
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- 8:30-5 Monday to Thursday and 8:30-4 on Fridays (but these could potentially be slightly varied)
