Due to growth a fantastic Manchester city centre based business requires an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team. This newly created role is a key appointment with lots of responsibility and development prospects. The role offers hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 at home) an attractive salary and study support for ACCA/CIMA. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Assisting with the production of monthly Group management accounts, adding valid commentary
- Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations and pack
- Posting of monthly journals such as accruals and prepayments
- Intercompany postings and reconciliation for 3 entities
- Support and assist in dealing with US tax entries, both sales and corporation tax
- Providing cover for the processing of sales and raising sales invoices when necessary
- Bank reconciliations on a weekly/monthly basis
- Supporting on the year end audit, resolving queries with accompanying evidence etc
- Assist the Management Accountant and the wider team with ad-hoc tasks
