Assistant Accountant

A fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join a highly respected, growing business based in London.
The role involves reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role focuses on carrying out oil & gas accounting functions together with day-to-day accounting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts payable function
• Reconcile bank accounts at end of month / Cash-flow / FX
• Manage Trial Balance for 3-5 business units (entities)
• Prepare first draft of monthly management reports
• Assist in preparation of annual accounts for the entities
• Dealing with statutory auditors

Key Skills & Experience:

• Previously worked in a similar role
• Proficient in SUN accounting system
• Good working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables)
• Oil & gas experience (ideally upstream)
