SalaryAn exciting and varied opportunity as Assistant Accountant to start quickly, for a minimum of 6 months. Career progression opportunity available to become a Management Accountant in the future.. Hybrid working 3 office days and 2 work from home.
Day to Day:
- Working in a small team of 3 and reporting to the Financial Controller
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and supporting the Accounts Assistant
- Month end reporting support
- Payroll, process payroll for monthly paid employees, from start to finish
- Cash flow
- Petty cash and expenses
- Bank and cash reconciliation

A ,long established business within County Durham area
About You
- AAT qualified would be preferred
- Manufacturing experience would be advantageous
- Ability to work with finance systems
- Payroll experience and exposure to Ledgers and month end reporting
- A positive 'can do' attitude
- Aptitude to progress into a Management Accounting job
