Assistant Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a full time Assistant Accountant for a 9 month contract.

We are looking for an Assistant Accountant with the following experience and skills:

• Must have advanced Excel experience including Macro and Formulas
• Extensive knowledge of sales, purchase ledger and credit control

As an Assistant Accountant your duties will include:

• Assisting and administering foreign exchange schedules and payments
• Administer asset register
• Assisting with month and year end, therefore must have previous background of preparing profit and loss account and balance sheets
• Preparing expense forms, supplier invoices, direct debit mandates and posting journals
• Providing cover for other colleagues, where needed
• Ad hoc duties as required by management

The ideal Assistant Accountant must be minimum AAT qualified.

Working hours are full time Monday to Friday. Hybrid role with 2 days in the office and 3 working from home.

Salary GBP33,000 plus GBP2,000 loyalty bonus on completion of contract.
