Assistant Accountant
Our client is the UK s second–largest leisure venue operator and they are looking for an Assistant Accountant to help with data entry and processing, as well as preparing the advance sales report on a daily basis.
This is an immediate start, fully office based role, which is expected to last up to 3 months.
Key Duties:
Creating and distributing the daily Advance Sales report which shows the overnight sales performance of active shows across the Group. Processing weekly payment runs, petty cash and expenses and credit cards. Processing weekly payrolls and making payments Assisting with the preparation of the weekly production accounts Assisting with year end Preparing the cycle royalty statements for payment and distribution to royalty holders. Weekly Bank reconciliations Working to provide details of budgeted and actual spend, including variance analysis. Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts Preparing the VAT returns Key Skills:
Competent user of Microsoft Excel Experience of working in a finance environment Knowledge finance software Good systems understanding High attention to detail Excellent analytical and numerical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Organised and have the ability to multi–task Competent user of Sage X3 and iTrent MHR Payroll
