SalaryR13 Recruitment are currently supporting an international energy business in their search for an Assistant Accountant to join their Norfolk-based team. You will be responsible for providing hands-on, varied support to the accounts team, aiding the day-to-day business operations and ensuring company accounts are kept accurately.
This is a full time, permanent role working Monday - Friday, with flexible hybrid working options available. This role is offering a salary of £26,000 - £32,000 depending on experience.

As they continue to expand and look to open up new international locations, this business is looking to expand their team to facilitate further growth.
The day to day
- Working closely with the Financial Director and accounts team to ensure a seamless accounts function to the wider business.
- Assisting with month and year-end accounts, as well as balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensuring company records are kept up to date and are accurate.
- Providing any other ad-hoc support to the accounts department as required.
You will have/be
- AAT qualified, with experience working in an accounts department.
- Strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms, particularly with Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload effectively.
