SalaryReed Practice have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Accounts Assistant working in practice looking to develop your career.
Our client is a progressive and modern accountancy firm using the latest technology to provide their clients with the highest calibre of information and service. This also means that the staff benefit from using the most modern systems, keeping them up to date with all the latest systems.
Located within a very easy commute from Wymondham, this Accounts Assistant role is not like any other, in that for four days you are working on clients’ accounts, with the fifth day left for you to pursue your CPD at home. This means that you will have dedicated time to develop your accounting knowledge, which will aid in pursuing your qualification quicker.
Your tasks for clients will include:
- Accounts preparation including extracting from Cloud accounts.
- Preparing self-assessment tax returns.
- VAT returns
- Assisting the Accounts Manager on projects when required such as Management Accounts and Budgets
- Preparing confirmation statements
- Undertaking bank reconciliations
- To assist when other team members are on leaving, bookkeeping.
To be considered for this post, you will be either AAT qualified, or near the end of Level 4 and you must have experience at this level, producing accounts and associated tax returns, either currently or previously within an accountancy practice to UK regulations, using (at least one of) cloud accounting packages such as Freeagent, Quickbooks, Xero and so on.
