Assistant Accountant/ Bookkeeper (Office based with flexibility where needed).

Whilst your role will predominantly consist of various reconciliations, month-end and management accounting duties, you will require a pragmatic and 'hands-on’ approach to additional duties.

Our client are a leader within their field and they are subsidiary of a larger, highly successful group.

The role reports into a highly-engaging and supportive Finance Manager and the formal job description includes:

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable work
• Bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
• Daily updating of cash flow actuals and immediate forecasts
• Weekly cash flow forecasts to update and circulate
• Assisting with monthly Management Accounts requirements

About you

You will ideally have a stable background with experience as an as an Assistant Accountant/Bookkeeper and have a 'can-do’ approach and knowledge of finance. You will be computer literate and have a flexible and pragmatic mind set, meaning that you are happy to support both the Finance Manager and other areas of the business when needed. You will ideally live locally or be able to easily reach Harrow/Harrow on the Hill and be able to work from their office.
