Assistant Accountant Bookkeeper Aat Full Or Part Time Hybrid

Role:

A Thriving Accountancy Firm with a varied client base that provides a high level of support to each company they look after has a new role for a bookkeeper or AAT qualified accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Working as part of a team, on a hybrid basis you will be involved in:

• Bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
• Reconciliations of the main control accounts, including month-end reviews
• Management accounts preparation
• Reviewing client entries and advising of corrections or efficiency improvements
• Providing training to clients on various packages and bookkeeping skills as required
• Preparing, reviewing and filing VAT returns for various VAT schemes

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience ideally within a UK-based accountancy practice
• AAT qualified or qualified by experience
• Use of Xero, Quickbooks and/or Sage.
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Passionate about great service and client care
