We are working with a brilliant business based in the Crawley area who are looking for someone to join their experienced Finance team on a Permanent basis as an Assistant Accountant / Finance Analyst.
In this role you will be given the opportunity to work closely with the Financial Controller, working across month end, accruals, pre-payments as well as reporting and analysis.
The role gives you brilliant exposure, you will be a vital part of the team. The Financial Controller has already said that this person will be trained with the view to move into a management role within 5 years and further opportunities thereafter. You could kick start a long career in this business and develop your career massively!
We are looking for someone who wants to progress, learn new skills and has a forward-thinking initiative. You will get the chance to develop both technical skills within Finance as well as skills such as Business Partnering.
Day to day this will be a varied role, but duties can include:
* Reporting of both Finance and non-Finance figures
* Analysis of Credit card and employee expenses
* Accruals and Pre-payments
* VAT Returns
* Month end duties including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
* Approving payments
* Fixed Asset schedules
* Assisting in Yearend
* Assisting with Yearend Audit
* Supporting other team members as required
