Assistant Accountant Ftc

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Accountant to join a leading biopharmaceutical company. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will play a crucial part in supporting global cash movement and various projects across the accounting team.

Offering remote working, with meetups perhaps occuring 1-2 a month.

Key Responsibilities-

• Responsible for day-to-day cash operations adherence with SOX compliance and board-approved treasury policies
• Manage bank reporting and communication ensuring compliance with SOX controls and any credit agreements
• Support global insurance program including D&O, property & casualty, products liability, and clinical trials
• Prepare reports and analysis on cash balances and movements, weekly, monthly, quarterly in alignment with GAAP reporting and comparisons to budgets
• Support Global credit card and expense system & processes (Concur)
• Support Intercompany movements and monthly reconciliation/matrix
• Support special projects as needed

Ideal candidate-

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
• 1- 2 year(s) of relevant accounting experience. Working towards accounting qualification preferable (ACCA/CIMA).
• Experience working with various systems including, but not limited to Concur, NetSuite, Oracle, FloQast, Gappify.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and other accounting standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience in the pharma/biotech industry preferred.
