SalaryI am currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a very successful business based in Winsford. Joining on an initial temporary basis, you will be joining a dynamic and energetic team and be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of invoices on their in-house system. This role will also consist of managing the accounts payable inbox, statement reconciliations, general admin duties, as well as building and maintaining good relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers on a day-to-day basis.
*Initially temporary, potentially temp to perm for the right candidate*
Responsibilities:
- Matching and processing high volumes of invoices on in-house system and matching to the relevant purchase order.
- Managing the accounts payable inbox, sorting invoices and statements.
- Building relationships with suppliers to meet the business' needs and resolving any invoice queries in a timely manner.
- Supplier payment runs and liaising with suppliers to check any change in bank details.
- Monthly statement reconciliations to be performed.
- Creating new credit accounts with potential suppliers.
- Ad-hoc reports and requests.
- General admin, answering accounts calls, filing of invoices.
- Cover for the credit controller, chasing payments and raising sales invoice.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous Accounts Payable experience.
- Strong relationship builder, as will be dealing with non-financial stakeholders.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good level of attention to detail.
- Good time management
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Have the ability to team alone or as part of a team.
