SalaryOur well established client in Northampton is looking to recruit an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join their team. As an Assistant Accountant, you will support the finance department by managing daily accounting tasks as well as the below:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and financial records
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Manage payroll and ensure timely and accurate processing
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Assist with audits and tax preparation
- Handle general ledger bookkeeping
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices and payments
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or AAT qualified
- Ideally working through ACCA/CIMA
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
You will be rewarded with a salary of between £30,000-£35,000 per annum + study + bonus. If you are interested in the role then APPLY NOW.
