Tax Assistant

We have been asked to recruit a Tax Assistant for a company based in Kettering.

Day to day you’ll report into the Chief Accountant and work closely with the Tax and Compliance Accountant supporting the efficient running of the department, focusing on Tax and Compliance work.

Below is an overview of what you’ll be doing…

• Assist the team with the preparation of companies filing.
• Filing companies house accounts.
• Dealing with routine tax queries
• Handling any tax issues and liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
• Requesting, tracking, and gathering information to complete compliance.
• Research of specific taxation areas and assist with any areas of advice.
• Preparation of self-assessment returns.
• Support the Payroll function.
• Company secretarial duties.
