Our client is an award-winning engineering company that operates within a niche market. Providing specialist services to a large global customer base.
Due to continued growth and success, they are now looking to strengthen their Finance team
THE ROLE:
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be required to
- Assist the Finance Manager with the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts
- Creating Journals, Prepayments and Accruals
- Balance Sheet reconciliation, Nominal Ledger and Control Accounts
- Working alongside the Finance Manager with VAT returns and Year End processes
THE PERSON:
- Adaptable with a strong work ethic you will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
- Experience of Sage accounts would be beneficial but not essential.
- At least 18 months experience in a key finance role with the ability to manage a heavy and varied workload.
