Assistant Accountant (Part Time) – Ts/17284

Our exclusive client based on Walton Summit, are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their accounts team.  Working alongside the FC and the management accountant, you will support the team with various accounting and financial tasks. The client is looking for someone to work 22-25 hours per week and can be flexible when these are completed.

Duties of the role include:

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements
• Reconcile balance sheet monthly for various subsidiaries
• Assist with month end and year end close processes including overseas subsidiary financial audits
• Prepare financial reports and statements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Process quarterly VAT returns

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.  Previous hands on accounting experience is essential for this role as is good attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and good time management.
