Assistant Accountant - Nazeing
Morgan Fire Protection Ltd, a specialist business within Marlowe Fire and Security Group, are looking to grow their team with the appointment of an experienced Assistant Accountant.
Starting Salary: GBP30,000/ GBP40,000 per annum.

Our Assistant Accountants
Assist in accounting functions within the department. Located at Morgan Fire Protection Ltd Head office in Nazeing, Essex
Preparing Month end management accounts (Board Pack updates)
Preparing quarterly VAT returns
Assisting with payroll and liaising with HR
Providing detailed findings on Variance analysis & financial analysis
Processing of supplier invoices each month, matching delivery notes and entering information onto Sage 200
Processing of monthly supplier statements
Compile Stock Control & monthly stock takes
Creating Purchase Orders for stock requisitions across all offices
Working alongside our credit controller to assist in debt collection & resolving disputes.
Assisting other departments where the business needs are
Using CASH/Sage to run reports on a weekly/monthly basis to assist with month end deadlines
Take credit card payments from customers.
Conduct Bank and Credit Card reconciliations
Any other ad hoc work as required within Accounts and other departments.
Requirements
Who We're Looking For
In addition to having all the usual attributes of a great Morgan Fire Protection Ltd employee, such as; a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, well presented and professional at all times, ability to work alone and as part of a team For this opportunity, we are specifically looking for candidates who offer:
Previous experiance within a similar role
Knowledge of Sage 200
Excellent communication and computer skills.
Fantastic customer focus, with the ability to resolve customer queries.
The ability to work effectively under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
A high degree of professionalism and resilience
Ability to produce documents to a high specification.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to handle multiple priorities with a structure approach.
The ability to work independently and the desire to learn.
Experience in using Microsoft Office Package
AAT Qualified, ACCA Part-Qualified
