Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 (dependent on experience) plus excellent benefits

A growing professional services business in Swindon is now looking to hire an Assistant Accountant for their high profile team on a permanent, full time contract. Reporting into the MD the duties of the Assistant Accountant will include:
- Provide finance and accounting services to a broad range of clients
- Prepare annual statements
- Create management reports using Xero
- Sales invoicing and pay run preparation
- General bookkeeping duties
- Preparation of tax returns
- Ad hoc duties / project work as requested by the Financial Controller
We are looking for a graduate, AAT or part qualified ACCA or CIMA with 2-4 years proven experience in a similar role who is looking to develop their career within a dynamic, fun organisation
Requirements for Assistant Accountant
- 2-4 years experience in a similar finance role
- Preferably AAT, a finance or accounting graduate or a part qualified ACCA or ACA
- Strong technical accounting skills (UK GAAP )
- Ideally with previous knowledge of working with Xero
- Excellent communication skills and a confident manner
- Ability to multitask and prioritise
- Flexible, professional and team approach
- Ambitious, innovative and detail-oriented
