We are supporting our client to recruit a Assistant Accountant - Hybrid Working to provide support to the UK Business. On a day to day basis you will provide support the accounting team and more specifically the Management Accountant.

Description
As the Assistant Accountant - Hybrid Working you will:
- Maintain the financial books and records
- Perform sales and purchase invoicing
- Payment processing and administration
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts in line with the relevant accounting policies
- Month end prepayment and accrual calculations
- Preparing journals for review
- Preparation and assistance with supporting schedules
- Assist in the production of balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Undertake financial analysis and production of supporting financial and non-financial reports
- Liaising with other Group Finance functions to ensure accuracy and completeness in reporting
- Undertaking financial administration
- Assistance with the annual audit process
- Ensuring HMRC requirements and deadlines are met
- Assessment and reporting against SLAs and KPis
- Assist in the development of new finance and operation reporting tools
- Ensure all financial processes are documented and up to date
Profile
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Studying towards an Accountancy qualification i.e. ACCA, CIMA or AAT
- Have experience of large integrated ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc)
- Knowledge of UK Accounting regulations
Job Offer
The successful candidate for the Assistant Accountant - Hybrid Working role:
- Be Based in Cardiff
- Receive £23,000 -£26,000 Per annum
