We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile utilities clients. They are currently looking for an Assistant Customer Account Manager to join them for an initial 12-month contract. However, there may be scope for extension or even a more permanent opportunity.
Job Purpose:
This role is crucial in connecting customers to the high voltage transmission system in England and Wales and turning the UK's net zero ambitions into reality.
The Customer Account Manager is the first point of contact for our customers and supports them through our connections process. They're the voice of the customer internally and ensure we know the customer's needs and requirements, whilst mitigating risks through contractual management of our connection agreements with the Electricity System Operator.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist the Senior CAM with managing their strategic accounts and relationships.
- Support the Senior CAM contractual management of our connection agreements.
- Build and establish a relationship with smaller portfolio customers.
- Log customer complaints in our CRM system and assist the Senior CAM with resolving these quickly.
- Capture customer intelligence and proactively use our CRM system to ensure our data is accurate.
- Understand customer's individual needs and keep them updated via progress meetings and communications.
- Assist with writing Account Plans for our strategic customers
Knowledge, Experience and Technical Know How:
Interpersonal, Supervisory or Management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications.
- Maintain a positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction.
- Thrives in a busy working environment with numerous activities running in parallel.
Technical or Specialist
- Experience in energy or utilities (or similar industry) preferred.
- Experience in using a CRM System (Salesforce or similar) preferred.
Location:
This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to work from the clients Warwick office at least 2 days a week.
Working hours:
Standard working hours with some flex where required.
