We understand hospitality can involve anti-social hours. All contracted staff who earn less than £36,000 full-time annual salary can earn up to an additional £3.00 per hour:
Sunday - Thursday from 7pm - 5am = extra £1.00 per hour
Saturday and Sunday from 5am - 7pm = extra £2.00 per hour
Friday and Saturday evening from 7pm - 5am = extra £3.00 per hour!
We also recognise everyone plays their part to provide amazing service.
On top of your salary you canearn up to £1,000 service charge per quarter (points based criteria for eligibility).

About the Role
- Serving food and drink in a timely manner with excelling guest service
- Dealing with any guest issues, queries or complaints
- Organising and running events at the Deer House Pub and outdoor swimming pool
- Assisting the Deer House Manager with the running of the Deer House Pub and taking charge in the absence of the Deer House Manager
- Organising team schedules, handling staff issues and authorising vacation annual and sick leave
- Evaluating employee performance and providing training and guidance as needed
- Managing various department-specific initiatives and ensuring that these are completed within the scope, time and budget
- Ensuring that employees follow company policies, as well as health and safety regulations
- Ensuring a high and consistent standard of customer service
- Initiating and driving marketing efforts and informing guests and employees about promotions
- General upkeep of the business following opening and closing procedures to the highest of their ability.
About You
- Previous experience in a Supervisor or Management role within food and beverage or hospitality
- Excellent listening skills in order to effectively lead a team and deal with guest grievances
- An empathetic and understanding nature in order to support and guide team members
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills to ensure that business operations function optimally at all times
- Good customer service skills to ensure that guests are retained
- Good IT skills and knowledge of all relevant software programs
- The ability to cope well under pressure and come up with innovative solutions when issues arise
- Sound financial skills, including creating and managing a budget
- Great organisational skills and the ability to delegate.
