Job description

A fantastic opportunity has become available working for this multi-award winning organisation. Working within the HR arena, this position would ideally suit someone who has previous exposure of Early Careers recruitment. The successful candidate will be supporting the Early Careers Recruiter and will help coordinate and promote career opportunities within the business.

The role will be based at the companies office in Winchester however there will be a high volume of travel to the London office as well as attending career fairs at various universities across the country, but also the option of hybrid working when not travelling

This is a full time opportunity, working Monday to Friday , 35 hours per week.

Key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Administrative support for the recruitment of graduates and summer interns
  • Support the recruitment for multiple business areas with Early Careers programmes (internship and graduates) across the two office main locations (London and Winchester).
  • The role will involve ensuring sufficient talent pipeline through:,
    • Coordinating 3rd party advertising.
    • Supporting with the creation of content for the firm s social media (Instagram and LinkedIn).
    • Supporting in the organisation of, and attendance at, university careers fairs and other relevant external recruitment events eg conferences - including university bookings, arranging branded materials, arranging attendees.
    • Supporting in the design and organisation of events to showcase opportunities, eg insight days - including assisting in preparation of materials.
    • Maintenance of the companies online and printed grad/intern materials.
    • Working with the Early Careers Recruiter to design and update materials.
    • Responding to queries from applicants regarding the company, recruitment processes or the applicant tracking system
    • Monitoring application progress through data analysis.
    • Working with various departments across the business to ensure their bespoke Early Careers recruitment needs are met.
    • Organise the logistics for assessment centres and attending assessment centres (Winchester and London), as well as giving feedback to candidates. This involves frequent travel to London during recruitment periods (can be multiple trips a week from September to April).
    • Drafting offer letters for assessment centres and Early Careers job offers.The role will also involve support in relation to on-boarding and Early Careers training, including communicating with new joiners, and liaising with departments and training department in relation to coordination of Early Careers training.

What skills and experience are they looking for?

  • Previous experience in Early Careers recruitment is desirable but not required.
  • More importantly, someone who is:,
    • Keen to learn and able to adapt to new processes and systems quickly.
    • Organised and able to multi-task across wide ranging duties and prioritise in busy periods.
    • Able to work with the existing team to ensure successful management of applications, including providing cover during busy periods.
    • Ability to take tasks through to completion seeking approval where needed.
    • Good communication skills and confident in working with others within the firm and externally.
    • Proactive in proposing ideas and taking work forward.
    • Creative and can generate ideas in relation to the use of social media in order to attract talent.
    • Is competent in Microsoft products including word, Powerpoint and excel
