Our main focus is on contributing to the improvement of education through various initiatives. LEaD’s Digital Education Team is responsible for supporting City’s approach for using technology for enhancing teaching, learning and assessment and the development of appropriate and engaging learning spaces. Responsibilities City is committed to ensuring that our websites, learning resources and online content are accessible and inclusive for the benefit of our students, staff, and members of the public. You will assist in the design and delivery of staff and student training on Digital Accessibility, create online guidance resources and support users to take up and use digital tools. You will support and take part in projects to pilot and evaluate digital study tools and to design new services and workflows. You will continue to develop your expertise in the fields of educational technology and Digital Accessibility. You will enjoy working with University staff and student communities to develop digitally accessible content, tools and practices, that will benefit all our learners. Person Specification You will bring experience of using and supporting others to use educational technologies or other technologies and platforms, including the design of training and guidance materials and managing queries from users. A good understanding of web accessibility principles and their application to the creation of accessible digital content e.g. blogs, webpages, video and audio and Microsoft office documents is required. With excellent communication and IT skills you will contribute to changing and improving the accessibility of our services through project work and dissemination of outcomes across our community at City.
