Mosaic Recruitment is actively seeking a dedicated Assistant Financial Accountant to join the team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our clients finance function.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the Finance Assistant will play a key role in supporting various financial activities, including invoicing, credit control, management account reporting, & expenses management.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with credit control activities, including chasing outstanding payments and maintaining customer accounts.
- Maintain the Sales Ledger
- Support the preparation of management account reports.
- Manage employee expenses processing and reimbursement in accordance with company policies.
- Provide general assistance and support across all aspects of the finance function as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as directed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience using Sage200
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Knowledge of finance principles and practices
- A proactive and self-motivated approach
