Long Ashton Golf Club is looking to recruit an Assistant Greenkeeper to join our existing dedicated team.

The position is full time, 40 hours per week. A flexible approach is required as most standard days of working will be Monday – Friday along with occasional special event weekend work.
The main duties include but are not restricted to:
- Assisting the team in all aspects of greenkeeping, including: cutting all playing surfaces, changing holes, setting up golf course for play
- Ensuring that the course is presented in the best possible condition to exceed the expectations of members and visitors
- Assisting with construction, aeration, and renovation works
- Able to safely operate a wide range of golf course machinery
- Undertake specific training on machinery and other working practices
The successful candidate should possess the following attributes:
- A strong work ethic, coupled with excellent time keeping
- A positive team player who has equal ability to work on their own
- Have an excellent attention to detail
- To always look for improvements and to work with care and consideration of equipment
- Complete tasks in line with Health and Safety regulations
- Relevant greenkeeping or horticulture qualifications is desirable but not essential
