It is one of thirty-two schools in the Trust, five of which are schools within the East Leeds locality. Whilst all schools in the Trust demonstrate a strong commitment to cooperative values and principles, the close proximity of the academies in East Leeds in particular has helped to facilitate cooperation across both the primary and secondary phase and reinforce our belief that these values and principles are crucially important. We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to the Academy; someone who will take a strategic lead in developing and evaluating SEND policy and practice at Co-op Academy Leeds.
Providing high visible leadership our ideal candidate will develop the quality of teaching and learning to meet the needs of students with SEND and other vulnerable pupils, through CPD for teaching and support staff, and quality assuring the impact of support.
