SalaryThis role presents an exciting opportunity for someone looking to progress to a Management Accountant position within 18-24 months. Reporting to the Management Accountant, the Assistant Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Accounts department and assisting in the production of monthly Management Accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations and support Management Accountant
- Handle accounting tasks for stores and assist with special projects
- Manage financial agreements and perform month-end tasks
- Prepare reports, manage payments, and handle VAT returns
- Ensure compliance, handle inquiries, and maintain confidentiality
- Authorise invoices, collaborate on system improvements, and review supplier contracts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of accounting or finance experience
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team, adapt to change, and handle pressure
