An opportunity has become available for an ambitious professional to join a leading firm. This role could be based in either their Middlesbrough or Darlington office.
Reporting to a Manager you will be involved in the process of delivering sets of management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.You will use cutting edge technology to enhance efficiencies and overall client delivery.
Main tasks:
- Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
- Use of Quickbooks, Sage, Xero
- Preparing Excel reports and paperwork
- Review of VAT returns
- CIS returns
- Posting payroll journals
- Budget preparation
- Dealing with queries internally and externally
- Attend clients premises as the role develops
Essential for this role:
- AAT 2 or equivalent and looking to progress further studies
- Enthusiasm for continued success and development within your accountancy career
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Understanding of double entry bookkeeping
- Experience of using Xero, Quickbooks, Sage,Dext or Spotlight would be an advantage
