Salary up to £35,000 Potential for Study Support Hours - 8am to 5pm Mon to Thurs, 8am - 12pm Fridays Full office based but might allow Fridays working from home Job Duties: Assisting the Management Accountant with the below duties: Cash Flow Management: - Develop and maintain a comprehensive 13-week rolling cash-flow forecast. - Implement strategies to optimize cash flow efficiency. Would ideally like to have experience in Cashflow Forecasting but can be trained if not. Statutory Reporting: - Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Doesn't need to have experience in Statutory Accounts, Management Accounting experience is fine. Balance Sheet Reconciliation: - Reconcile and maintain the balance sheet to guarantee accuracy and completeness. Tax Oversight: - Oversee tax-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. - Collaborate with external tax advisors when necessary. Will also train if candidate doesn't have experience. Audit Support: - Assist in the coordination of external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. Fixed Asset Management: - Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate recording of assets. Journal Entries: - Post accruals, prepayments, and payroll journals accurately and in a timely manner. Bank Reconciliation: - Perform regular bank reconciliations to reconcile accounts. VAT Returns: - Manage and submit VAT returns in compliance with regulations. Accounts Receivable/Payable: - Post incoming cash to the accounts receivable ledger. - Facilitate timely and accurate payments to suppliers. Ad-Hoc Projects: - Undertake any other projects and ad-hoc tasks as required by the Finance Director - UK.
